20 Ways To Never Write Boring Content Again

May I have your attention, please? Will the real Slim Shady please stand up? I repeat—will the real Slim Shady please stand up?

Now that we have your attention, we have about five seconds to keep it before you move on. Please keep your eyes on the screen and your finger away from the keypad.

You won’t regret it! It is time to make your content more exciting.

20 Ways to Avoid Being Boring in Your Content Writing

Are you ready to learn a few easy ways to keep your readers reading? Keep reading. (Pun intended.)

1. Entertain Your Readers

You do not need to be a Millennial to know the need to be entertained. Look at YouTube’s success. People want to be entertained 24/7. In order to entertain your readers, you must first decide who your readers are. Identifying your audience is key to writing successful copy. Did mentioning Slim Shady in the first graph connect with many readers? Eminem has sold millions of records, so readers should recognize his hit song, right? Maybe not, but it was worth the risk. Different audiences have different attractions. Stephen King could be an entertaining writer for some, but not for others. A general rule of thumb is if you are bored with your content writing, your readers will be as well. Make your copy as interactive as possible. How do you do that?

2. Connect With Your Readers

The better question is what makes certain media entertaining? The reason Stephen King sells so many books, and Eminem sells so many records is because they can connect with their customers. They create entertaining media. Their fans are entertained and get some enjoyment out of the products they produce. So, how do copywriters connect with their readers?

3. Grab Your Reader’s Attention

From your headline to the closing sentence, you need to grab your reader’s attention and hold onto it. A well-outlined article will have flow. Having flow through your article will make the reading experience enjoyable and easy to read. Smooth transitions from sentence to sentence and paragraph to paragraph will allow the reader to move through your copy. Also, correct punctuation and grammar will help keep the reader from being distracted.

From one of my favorite authors, C. S. Lewis:

“I sometimes think that writing is like driving sheep down a road. If there is any gate to the left or right, the readers will most certainly go into it.”

This quote still holds true in the Information Age because readers have far more reasons to be distracted. A simple tip: do not let bad grammar or punctuation distract.

4. Make Your Content Fun

Content writing, especially creating stuff that’s fun and readable, can be difficult for some people. How do you make your content fun? Maybe tell a quick joke, but what if your readers do not find it funny? You do not want to be that comedian standing up on the stage in silence following a punch line. The best way to make your content fun is to be creative and think of unique ways to tell your story or get your point across. Try connecting with things that are fun. If you are a pet store that sells rabbits, why not mention Bugs Bunny on your landing page? Many people remember Bugs Bunny and find him amusing.

5. Write Authentic Content 6. Show What You are Writing About is Important

If you are unable to answer the question: “So what?” then what you are writing is probably pretty boring. Whatever you are writing needs to have a purpose. If you are not convinced that what you are writing is important, then how do you expect your reader to want to read it? What is the point of writing this piece? This matters because engaged readers read more and search engines track the number of views and time on page.

7. Be Creative 8. Be Passionate

If you are not interested in the topic you are writing about, readers will notice. With passion comes purpose. When you are passionate about what you are writing, your reader will feel your passion. Authenticity, expertise, and creativity come together more quickly when you are passionate about a topic.

9. Engage with Your Readers 10. Use Illustrations

And now, for five direct paths you should take in your content:

11. Be Urgent

12. Be Unique

How can you be fresh in your content? When writing unique you must either say something new or say something that has already been stated in a different way. Look at how your competitors write and think of how you can make your copy more attractive. You don’t want to write like your competitors. You want to write better than them. It is hard to create original content, but it is not impossible.

13. Be Specific

Tell your reader exactly why they should continue reading. Bly uses the headline examples: “What never to eat on an airplane,” “Bills it’s okay to pay late,” and “Best time to file for a tax refund”. These particular fascinations attract the reader into reading the copy. Be specific and don’t waste your reader’s time. Depending on the article, by the end of your second paragraph your reader should know exactly what they are reading, and why they are reading it.

14. Be Useful

Like all good copy, there should not only be features, but also benefits. The reader must know what the benefit is to reading your blog or article. Will they be saving money or time from using your product? How does your product benefit them? You need to make this clear very early in the text, usually in the headline. Don’t bore them just with the features. People want to know how their lives will be made better from reading your copy.

15. Be Simple and Direct

Everyone has his or her style of writing. When you are trying to attract the most readers, it is best to be simple and direct, according to Jacques Barzun in Simple & Direct: A Rhetoric for Writers. Nine times out of ten people will choose the easiest method to get the job done. Being even a little bit abstract in your writing runs the risk of losing your reader’s attention. If you want to attract the most readers possible, and hold their attention, keep your rhetoric simple. Don’t use jargon or strange abbreviations. Tell your writer’s exactly what you want them to know in as few words as possible.

16. Tell Your Readers What to Think

Bam! Simple, right? Asking questions throughout your copy helps you maintain their focus on your text. Your thoughts will automatically transfer from a question to an answer. Ask the question: “Are you looking for original content for your website?” Then you respond to the question in the body of your text with your solution.

17. Storytelling is Awesome

Tell a story! Everyone likes to hear a good story, and there is a reason most journalists use anecdotes to begin their articles. Stories help readers develop a mental picture they can relate to. Much like Eminem’s music, the reader can relate to a story about another human. Therefore, they will continue reading. Providing the reader with stories, also offers additional examples to help reinforce your argument.

18. What’s New?

Staying on top of what is new and trendy can help attract readers. If the 2023 Major League Baseball Season just started, why not write a blog that uses the most popular team as an anecdote to help explain your topic, like my company’s blog did here on the Yankees? The human memory tends to be short-termed. So, the more recent the event you reference, the better the reader can relate to the topic. This is also another great way to come up with creative ideas for your copy through following recent trends.

19. Press Enter Please!

If your text is all one paragraph, the reader’s eyes are going to be intimidated from the get-go. Break your paragraphs up and allow the reader to take it section by section. It is much easier to read a page that is divided into section than to read one huge chunk of text. Also, keep your sentences as short as possible. A run-on sentence or too many commas could mean the end of your reader’s attention span.

20. Now That Was Enjoyable

When you read something, you should not be exhausted. Your reader should be refreshed at all of the great information you provided them. The reader should know where they are headed and in the end how they got there. Of course, this takes a lot of time, research, and revisions on the writer’s part, but a writer’s purpose is to write to attract readers. In the end, it is worth the effort.

Poweradd Power Banks For Iphone – Simple But Powerful!

Things to know:

What will be your first move when your iPhone battery is draining, and you are outside?  In this situation, you realize how important a power bank can be. The brand Poweradd understands these crucial requirements and offers a decent range of power banks and chargers.

Here, I have picked up their three best-selling products, used them extensively, and provided you with a detailed review to help you make the right purchase decision.

Poweradd – The power-house of your iPhone

Poweradd manufactures several kinds of high-tech, fast-charging power banks, and travel-friendly multiport USB wall chargers. Besides, you can explore a range of heavy-duty power stations and eco-friendly solar panels on their website.

The power banks I have chosen are labeled as Poweradd Pro as they are top-notch variations. Besides, another one is the EnergyQC power bank. It is another range of Poweradd that is well-known for its fast charging and portability. Excited to get the nitty-gritty? Let’s jump in!

1. Poweradd Pro portable charger + USB-C wall charger review

How about getting a universal power resource for all your Apple devices? The Poweradd Pro Portable Charging power bank bundle comes with a 10000mAH power bank, a 20W wall charger, and a USB-C cable. So, you don’t have to search and buy them individually, saving time and money (smart move). Using this power bank, you can juice your iPhone 14, any iPad, AirPods, and Apple Watch.

Capacity10000mAhPower bank Type-C input5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5APower bank Micro input5V/2A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5APower bank Type-C output5V/3A, 9V/2.2A, 12V/1.5APower bank USB output4.5V/5A (22.5W), 5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5AUSB C wall charger inputAC 110V-240VUSB C wall charger output5V/3A, 9V/2.22A, 12V/1.67A 20W MaxDimensions7.68 x 2.87 x 1.02 inchesWeight309g

Build and design

Poweradd has opted for a traditional design for its power bank. The wide black LED digital display is a cherry on top of the classy look. It enhances the user experience by showing the remaining battery percentage. By pressing the side button, you can turn on the display, and it will turn off after 35 seconds.

So, you know exactly when you should recharge it before going out. While charging, the LED display always stays on. Besides both the power bank and wall charger are in white color, which I would not prefer for long-term usage. On the top side, you will get four charging ports, including a Type-C port for both input and output, a micro-USB port for input only, and two USB-A ports for output.

Therefore, you can juice your three devices simultaneously. The USB-C power bank can slide into your bag or pocket easily as it’s quite slim. But I feel the weight is pretty hefty to carry around. Moreover, the plastic outer shell may get scratched and feels a bit cheaper.

Utility

The Poweradd Pro portable charger Li-Polymer battery pack has a capacity of 10000mAh, so it’s pretty capable of recharging your iPhone two times fully. Both the power bank and wall charger have a built-in smart chip. Moreover, the smart fast-charging technology helps to detect your device and set the quickest charging output.

With 20W fast charging, it will take 1 hour to charge from 40% to 100%. Also, if you have connected an iPhone and an iPad, both will charge quickly together and take almost 2 hours. Besides, juicing the power bank using the included power adapters will take almost 1 hour and 50 minutes. The charging ports are bi-directional.

Additionally, the battery pack can hold the charge accurately for a longer period. Most power banks have overheating issues that harm your iPhone’s battery health. But I was impressed with its protection feature that prevents short circuits, over-voltage, overcharging, and overheating issues.

So, whenever your devices have completed charging, it will cut off charging automatically. Also, it will waive off power fluctuations so your iPhone will not face an explosion. Therefore, your Apple devices and you are in safe hands. The best part is I also use this battery pack with a USB heating scarf and hot water bag.

Should you buy it?

Pros

Classy looks

Massive battery capacity

Smart fast charging technology

Overheating and overcharging protection

Compatible with USB heating products

Cons

White color gets dirty over time

Little overweight

The Poweradd Pro portable charging power bank and USB-C wall charger bundle are priced at $25.99. So, according to its usability, the price tag is justified. Because if you buy three of them individually, it will cost more. Also, you don’t have to worry about damaging your iPhone’s battery life. But I had expected a bit more premium build material.

2. Poweradd Pro portable charger review

Poweradd Pro portable charging power bank acts as an external battery pack for your iPhone. Pretty straightforward, right? You can juice your iPhone, iPad, Android, Apple Watch, AirPods, Nintendo Switch, GoPro, and much more. And the 10000mAh is more than enough for a whole day.

Capacity10000mAhMicro input5V/2A, 9V/2AType-C input5V/3A, 9V/2AType-C output5V/3A, 9V/2.2A, 12V/1.5A (PD 20w)USB output5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A (QC 18w)Dimension5.47 X 2.64 X 0.67 inchesWeight240.12g

Build and design

Poweradd Pro power bank is a cult classic with an elegant black finish. It has a textured body that offers a good grip and a pleasant hand feel. So, it’s useful and handy for both indoor and outdoor activities. Besides, the design is quite portable, compact, and sleek so that it easily slides into your pocket.

Additionally, you will get a LED digital display and a tactile side button. Pressing it will turn on the power bank so you can check the accurate battery power remaining. Also, long-pressing the side button will turn off the power bank. Therefore, whenever you are going out, check it and refill it before the battery pack is dead.

If your device supports fast charging, the display will show FAST beside the battery percentage. Besides, the power bank has three ports: a USB-C, a USB-Micro-B, and a USB-A. The USB Type-C port supports dual input and output, including 18W input and 20W output.

So, unlike other power banks with only a USB-C input, it is ideal for your iPhone, iPad, and other USB-C devices. Moreover, you have options with the USB-A 18W output and micro-USB 18W input. Additionally, you will get a USB-C to USB-A cable in the box.

Utility

Poweradd Pro portable charger is a fast-charging power bank that offers PD 3.0 20W Type-C output. So, you can charge your iPhone up to 50% in 35 minutes. If you have connected an iPhone and iPad together, it will charge the iPhone to 100% and the iPad to 60% on average.

According to the brand, you can juice your iPhone twice a day after fully charging the power bank. But after fully charging an iPhone 14 Pro Max, only 35% battery was left. Besides, the 10000mAh battery is capable of charging two devices simultaneously. Also, it can fast charge your iPhone while refilling from a power outlet.

But note that it will enable fast charging only for USB-C port-connected devices, and the other one at the USB-A port will get standard 18W power delivery. If you have connected only one iPhone, it will get fast charging. Besides, when your iPhone reaches 80%, it will stop quick charging.

So, from 80% to 100%, your iPhone will charge at 18W. This 20% charging is done in around one and a half hours (too much time!). And overall, it takes almost 2 hours to fully charge your iPhone 14 Pro Max. So, I don’t recommend plugging it in after hitting 80%.

With this capacity, you can’t use it with a MacBook. While refilling the power bank, you must use the 20W wall adapter so that it will get quick charging. To juice 0 to 100%, the time taken is about two hours. If you are using micro-USB wall adapters, the power bank may take 3-4 hours.

Should you buy it?

Pros

Elegant black looks

Lightweight

Textured body patterns

Dual Type-C input and output

20W fast charging

Cons

Fast charging is disabled after 80%

Only one color option is available

With a price tag of $19.99, Poweradd Pro portable charging power bank is a good deal. If you are a minimalist and black lover like me, definitely give it a try. It can be your tiny buddy on outdoor trips or an office desk. Just get a USB-C to USB-C cable and USB-C to Lightning cable so that you can enjoy fast charging for all your devices.

Build and design

EnergyQC Pilot 5GS undoubtedly looks elegant. It comes with a rose gold color metal build and a 15mm thin sleek design. So, you will get a luxurious hand feeling same as using an iPhone. The aluminum alloy material ensures the battery pack is safe if you drop it accidentally. Also, it will shine like new for a long time.

Besides, on the top side, you will see a power button, LED indicators, and three ports: a Lightning input port, a USB output port, and a USB Type-C port for both input and output. The four LED indicators show the battery remaining. Suppose only three LEDs are on; then roughly 50-75% of power is left.

Utility

The EnergyQC Pilot 5GS USB-C Power Bank employs the newest PD3.0 and QC3.0 fast charging technologies. So, you will get an input power of up to 18W and an output power of 20W. Therefore, an iPhone 12 from 0% to 60% in only 35 minutes, saving 1.5 hours of charging time. You can juice your iPhone 13 2.5 times with a full charge of it.

Also, your AirPods Pro can have 46 charges. Awesome, right? The best part is the power bank incorporates multiple security measures like overvoltage, overcurrent, short circuits, and overheating protection. Therefore, your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and AirPods’ battery health is safe and secure.

Should you buy it?

Pros

Metal finish

Massive 12000mAh battery

Fast charge PD and QC-supported devices

Multiple battery protection built-in

PD3.0 Fast Charging technology

Cons

No digital display for showing the battery percentage

Now the final question arrives – is EnergyQC Pilot 5GS power bank worth spending $23.99? Definitely, yes! It offers a beautiful metal finish and a massive battery capacity with PD 3.0 20W fast charging ability. If the brand had included a digital display, it would have become an allrounder.

The end is near at this point in the backsplash tiling process. We’ve prepared the walls and we’ve installed the tile with thinset, letting it dry really well.

Today, we can talk about grouting, plus you can learn how to fix it if you mess it up as I did! I make mistakes, so you don’t have to!

Part 3: Grouting a Backsplash

Part 2: Installing tile with thinset

Supplies Needed

First, we’re going to get the area as clean as possible. I used a shop-vac to remove any loose, dried thinset pieces. This also showed me that some of the tile pieces did not adhere as well as I had thought. So I reapplied thinset to those pieces and let it dry for another day. Sad, but necessary.

With a nice clean surface, you’re ready for grouting your tile. If you mixed it yourself, you want the consistency of icing.

Use the rubber float to apply the grout, using a diagonal motion to shove it firmly into the cracks. I like the smaller float because by this time, my hand was claw-like and everything hurt. It also was easier to maneuver than the larger one, because backsplashes are not very large.

Use the float again to remove the excess grout on the surface, being careful not to remove it from the cracks. Using an “S” shape pattern works well to remove all of the excess grout. I’ve read that working on 10-minute increments is a good rule. ***

Remove more grout than this!

After applying grout for 10 minutes, stop and grab the sponge and fill a bucket with water. It helps to have more than one. I used empty buckets that we had in the garage. You can buy empty buckets as well. They come in handy all the time!

Wring the sponge out so that it’s not sopping wet and start wiping the tile down, rinsing it in the bucket as necessary. You’ll have to rinse it a lot! Use the grout scrubber on any stubborn spots. Smooth the grout lines as you go, being careful to not remove too much grout. It should be fairly firm at this point.

When the water is gross, switch to a new bucket. Pour the old water outside. You don’t want it in your drains.

A little bit of leftover haze is normal and can be taken care of easily.

Continue until the grouting is done. Don’t rush this part. I’ll tell you why in a moment. Trust me. Use the 10 minute rule!

When you’re done, wipe off the layer of haze with a microfiber cloth.

***What I did wrong while grouting***

The aforementioned claw hands were part of the problem, but I was also tired of not having a kitchen. Ironically, if I had done it correctly, I would have had my kitchen back the next day.

I grouted the whole thing, and then went back to wipe it. My grout package said to let it dry for 30 minutes, but it was a really warm day, so I think it dried much faster.

I also did not wipe enough of the excess grout off in the initial grouting stage. Womp womp womp….

So it dried and was difficult to remove. But not impossible.

How to Fix Dried on Grout

Supplies Needed

Finishing up

Supplies:

Caulk

Caulk gun

Grout sealer

Caulk where the edges meet the countertop and anywhere else necessary, like along the windows or cabinets. I used white to match the white grout. If you mess up, you can let it dry and then scrape it off.

Let caulk dry.

Apply grout sealer. This part was really easy. I wiped a generous amount on, using the squeeze bottle to make sure that I got it really well behind the sink and stove where I make the most messes. Let it sit for a few minutes and wipe off the excess with a clean rag.

Still so much to do, but the tile sure looks lovely!

It still needs a few pieces of wood trim to be complete. I decided to add wood trim in my “problem areas.” I’m a big believer in not making work harder than it needs to be. It might not be “right”, but I would rather it be done and “good enough” than be curled up somewhere in fetal position crying. My method is not for perfectionists, because I’m not one. I’m a “get stuff done” kind of girl.

Anyways, instead of agonizing over cutting tile into perfect 1/4″ pieces, I decided to beef up the trim around my window instead. It’s a win-win situation because the trim is pretty wimpy.

Edited to add: I ended up adding thinner tile to the edges around the window. See the finished kitchen here.

As hard as this project ended up being for me, I still think of tile fondly. It’s like having a baby. It sucks while you’re doing it, but eventually you want another. (Except I would much rather have tile than more babies.)

Updated: I’ve repainted my cabinets and gave the kitchen a budget friendly makeover.

Do These 5 Things & You Will Rank Higher Than Your Competitor

I’m going to tell you how to rank higher than your competitors in almost every case.

No, this isn’t a joke.

We call these steps the “5 Cs” and every SEO process our agency does is bucketed under one of these five headings.

I will personally guarantee that if you do five things better than your competitor for any given keyword, you will rank higher than them.

So is this the magic bullet you’ve been looking for?

You’ll have to read further to find out.

Yes, You Can Do SEO Yourself

SEO is not rocket science.

SEO is more akin to plumbing.

Anyone can learn how to fix a sink by watching a bunch of YouTube videos.

But you better be sure that you have the time and patience to learn how to fix that sink correctly, or you are likely going to have to fix it again or call someone who knows how to fix it.

And there’s always the very strong possibility, no matter how many YouTube videos you watch, that you’ll make a mistake and end up with a flood that Noah would be proud of.

SEO is the same way.

You can learn how to do it yourself.

There are plenty of great resources for learning SEO.

But here’s the rub.

If your time is worth anything, and you don’t want to risk the proverbial water damage that your site might endure, hiring a competent SEO professional is probably worth the money.

The 5 SEO ‘Magic Bullets’

Over the years, I’ve worked hard to try and explain the complex dance we call SEO in simplified terms.

It’s not an easy task.

In working to explain SEO in a simple form, I’ve come to the conclusion that there are five things, that if done better than any other site, will almost guarantee ranking above the competition.

1. Code

Having good underlying code won’t get you rankings.

But not having good underlying code will keep you from ranking.

The forward-facing code on your site is what the major search engine crawlers look at.

Your focus should be on making your forward-facing code as frictionless as possible for the crawlers.

I’m not going to go into how to do this.

Frankly, I don’t have the time nor the vast amount of pixels that would be required to tell you how to fix your site’s code.

There are tons of resources, including Youtube videos, out there that will provide you with information on how to provide proper code that works well with the major search engines.

In my opinion, for most companies, technical SEO is a fundamental basic.

And for most legitimate SEO professionals, it isn’t a problem.

Being able to fix the code on a website is, unfortunately, what the general public thinks is the whole SEO game.

The problem is, fixing the code on a site is the most basic step to getting into the game.

Good SEO pros can make a difference with technical SEO and changing code.

But it’s only one aspect of what makes a great SEO.

2. Content

Search Engine Algorithms still read words.

Consumers still read words.

Words mean things.

The words on your site must be read by people and robots.

But it’s more than just words.

It’s meaning.

It’s relevance.

Content is an unpredictable king.

Benevolent one minute, wrathful the next; and mostly ineffective if not continually shaped and molded.

Your content has to communicate your company’s unique selling proposition using the words that people who are looking for your goods and services are most likely to type into a search engine.

And this isn’t 2003.

Stuffing keywords into your content like the proverbial round peg into a square hole is not only ineffective, it’s counterproductive.

Yet I still see folks relying on things like “keyword density” or “latent semantic indexing” – looking for a mythical formula that never really existed in the first place.

Yes, you need to use your keywords in your content.

If you ask me how many times you need to use a keyword, you’re missing the point.

It’s about making content that resonates first with the end user – then massaging that content to make it effective for the search engines as well.

Test your copy.

Running a few dollars through a Google Ads account or Facebook campaign can give you a good idea if the gist of the content is working for your audience.

Once it’s working with people, tweak it to be more robot friendly.

And it’s not just about the content on your own page.

It’s about the content that others write about you.

If you can’t get others to write about you, you are yelling into a wall, most likely alone.

That’s a good segue into the next “bullet”.

3. Connections

Google was founded on the principle that links to a website are the best indicator of a site’s relevance to a specific query.

The algorithm has changed a lot over the years, but you’d be hard-pressed to find a legitimate SEO that doesn’t think links still matter.

I’ve written in the past why I think public relations professionals make great SEOs.

And I’m a firm believer in the fact that link building is best focused on quality rather than quantity.

Unless something just absolutely goes legitimately viral, I get suspicious when a non-enterprise level site gains thousands of links in a month.

Huge quantities of links without a lucky viral hit are almost always the flag of spammy tactics.

Building links is about building connections.

It’s much harder to identify influencers and cultivate an authentic relationship than it is to spam 10,000 folks from a bought list, hoping for a few suckers that will grant you a link.

Connections are what separate good SEO from great SEO.

But it’s not enough to just do media relations.

Everyone, no matter what the budget, has limited resources.

Therefore, it’s imperative that you spend your time and effort cultivating relationships with the right people, rather than the ones who will give you a link that isn’t worth the effort.

In order to identify the right influencers, you must understand the basics of how a link is valued by the search engine – and the relevance of each potential link to your web property.

I wrote about how we value links here.

4. Communications

Let’s get something straight.

Social media will not provide you with direct SEO benefits.

But social media is extremely important to the success of any SEO program.

We talked about connections, and how building relationships is the ideal way to build links.

But how do we cultivate those relationships?

Currently, the best way to cultivate relationships with the right influencers is by communicating and interacting on social media.

Plus, having a robust and effective social media presence helps with a brand’s recognition.

Brand recognition can make a #3 listing as effective as a #1 listing.

Most SEO pros don’t get involved in social media strategy, and that is a mistake,

Social media is the single greatest tool for cultivating relationships and communicating value to influencers.

Relationships and relevance to influencers garner quality links.

Quality links make effective SEO.

5. Capture

Effective SEO does not live in a vacuum.

Frequently, clients want to appear high for a specific keyword because, intuitively, they feel being rankings for that keyword will make all of their dreams come true.

Frequently, these clients are wrong.

In many cases, it’s difficult to completely understand the intent of a searcher intuitively.

Many broad keywords are at the top of buying funnel.

This is just one example of how data from your website needs to be used to guide your ongoing SEO strategy.

Without data, an SEO is going by gut instinct.

That may have worked in 2003, but today it’s going to results in a half-baked SEO program that never lives up to its potential.

It’s why I require every person at my agency who even remotely touches a client’s campaign be Google Analytics Certified.

Data won’t make you rank.

But data will guide your understanding of what’s going on with your SEO and where it needs to go.

Are These the Magic Bullets You Are Looking For?

Google says you should avoid anyone who offers guarantees about SEO.

After all, SEO professionals don’t control Google – we just work to give Google what it wants.

But I will guarantee that if you do the items discussed in this article better than the competition, you will rank above them, every time.

But if you’ve been paying attention, you’ve probably noticed that this isn’t a simple checklist of to-dos.

It’s up to you to decide if this article outlines an SEO magic bullet.

To me, it’s more of an outline of how to work hard and grind out great SEO results.

I promise it works.

But if you are looking for the easy way out, I don’t recommend following these steps.

It’s not easy, but it works.

And at the end of the day, the results are worth the effort.
