Suggested January 2024 7 Natural Ways To Prevent Mosquito Bites
When the temperature rises, it’s time to enjoy the outdoors with various fun pursuits. However, these benefits come with a minor drawback: mosquitos. Throughout the summer, these annoying insects may ruin everyone’s plans. Nonetheless, there are methods to avoid being bitten by mosquitoes. If mosquitoes are drawn to you like a magnet, your skin is probably too rough and itchy.
Some mosquito species, like the ones that spread malaria, love the bacteria and sweat that people leave behind. Some are attracted to the smell of carbon dioxide or the hands of a certain person.
No matter what kind of wildlife you might meet, you can stay safe without using chemicals like DEET. You might not need to use DEET products unless you go somewhere where mosquitoes carry diseases like Zika. DEET should be used by people who are afraid of getting bitten by mosquitoes because of the diseases they may carry.
When you are outside, natural repellents may work best. This includes camping, hiking, and just hanging out in the backyard. Read on to learn about the best natural ways to keep bugs away.
Peppermint oilPeppermint oil has been used for a long time to keep bugs and mosquitoes away. When mixed with other oils and scents, like lemon, this oil makes a minty smell that can be used to keep mosquitoes away. If you want to get the most out of peppermint oil, it’s best to mix it with a carrier oil like canola oil.
Lemon EucalyptusThe EPA has registered Lemon eucalyptus as a repellent, and the CDC has said it is an effective ingredient in mosquito repellent. Mosquitoes will stay away for up to 12 hours if you mix lemon and eucalyptus essential oils.
You can get it by mixing one part lemon eucalyptus oil with ten parts sunflower oil or witch hazel. The mix should not be given to kids younger than three.
Cinnamon OilCinnamon tastes great when sprinkled on applesauce or oatmeal and can be used in many other ways.
To make a solution, you need 1/4 teaspoon (or 24 drops) of oil for every 4 ounces of water. The fluid can be sprayed directly on the body, clothes, and surfaces like furniture and plants.
If you get sick or have an allergic reaction after many mosquito bites, it’s important to keep track of your symptoms and see a doctor as soon as possible.
Grounded coffeeAlso, coffee grounds can be found in every store and every home. One of the best things you can do with grounded coffee at home is to stop mosquito bites. In standing water, the number of mosquitos can grow by up to 100%, so pouring the coffee grounds into these pools is a good idea to keep these pesky insects away. Mosquito larvae that have just hatched will float to the surface because they don’t have enough oxygen. And coffee will kill these larvae and keep your surrounding clean.
CamphorThe application of camphor is a tried and true method for getting rid of those pesky insects. The residual odor may be enough to deter insects. Lighting the camphor in a closed room and waiting around 30 minutes is recommended to keep these insects away. There won’t be a single mosquito left after 30 minutes.
Garlic SprayThe strong, pungent smell of garlic keeps mosquitoes away and helps keep the area free of mosquitoes. Boil a few crushed cloves of garlic to make garlic water. When the liquid has cooled, pour it into a spray bottle and mist the inside of your home.
CitronellaIt has been shown that essential oils like citronella can help keep insects away. It is a mix of herbs used as an active ingredient in many bug sprays. When used outside, citronella candles can protect you up to 50% more.
Studies in 2011 found how citronella keeps mosquitoes and other insects away. When made right, the substance works just as well as DEET and keeps bugs away for up to two hours. Use a well-made citronella product because an ineffective one will evaporate quickly, leaving you defenseless.
Mosquito Dite TreatmentEven if you use mosquito repellent, you could still get bitten, which can be itchy and even uncomfortable.
If you get sick or have an allergic reaction after many mosquito bites, it’s important to keep track of your symptoms and see a doctor as soon as possible. Some signs of trouble could be −
Rising body temperature
a spot at the site of a bite with pus or blood.
Sticky sores or something like that.
How can we Prevent Mosquito Bites?
You can make mosquitoes less likely to bite you by using repellent, reapplying it as needed, and wearing the right clothes.
Instead of being outside, choose to be inside or in a place with a screen. Fix any holes or tears in the screen to stop air from getting through.
Keep your windows close or use net window covers.
Get rid of any pools of water near your home. If you don’t want mosquitoes to breed in your yard, get rid of buckets, baby pools, pots, garbage cans, and bird baths with water.
Stay indoors between dark and dawn, when mosquitoes are most active.
Risks of Essential oil Mosquito RepellantYou should never use an essential oil straight to your skin. Essential oils are never used undiluted; they are always mixed with carrier oil like almond oil. Essential oils are typically used at a ratio of 3–5 drops per 1 ounce of carrier oil.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not have jurisdiction over essential oils. To avoid getting defective goods, only buy from trusted sellers.
Doctors recommend wearing a chemical insect repellent if you plan to go to a region where mosquitoes are known to spread illnesses like malaria, yellow fever, or the Zika virus.
Moreover, some people may be sensitive to the oils’ volatile components. Wait an hour or two after applying a new product to a small area of skin to be sure you don’t break out in hives or feel any burning.
ConclusionThere is strong evidence that mosquitoes can be scared away with natural substances. This is great news for anyone who wants to avoid dangerous chemicals, especially children and pregnant women.
You can keep mosquito bites at bay in a fun way by making your natural mosquito repellent from several different ingredients.

7 Ways To Force Quit Mac Applications
Do you need to force quit an unresponsive Mac app? Is your Mac seeing the infamously dreaded spinning beachball of death? Is an app failing to respond to any input? Maybe you have an errant process or two? When any of the above happens, you’ll probably want to forcibly quit the application in question, and that’s what we’ll cover with this walkthrough, showing you
Whatever your skill level with Mac, you’ll find a way to forcibly exit out of an app. Read on to learn more!
How to Force Quit Mac Apps: 7 Different Ways
Take a moment to review the tricks below, and then remember a few keyboard shortcuts or sequences now to save yourself a hassle later if you find yourself in a situation where you need to force quit a Mac app. And yes, these tricks work in all versions of Mac OS and Mac OS X.
1) Use a Keyboard Shortcut for “Force Quit Applications” on MacThink of this as a simplified version of Activity Monitor, and it’s also a great keystroke to remember to use since it allows for quickly ceasing multiple apps. If you’re going to remember nothing else for force quitting apps in Mac OS X, remember this keystroke: Command + Option + Escape
That Force Quit keyboard shortcut is probably the best combination of easy and power when force quitting apps in Mac OS X, since you can access it with a keystroke, select and force quit multiple apps if necessary, and summon it from anywhere.
2) Force Quit Currently Active Mac App with the KeyboardHold down Command+Option+Shift+Escape for a second or two until the app forcibly closes. Be sure to do this while the app you want to force quit is the foremost application on the Mac, as it will force quit whatever is active when held down.
This is not well known, but offers perhaps the quickest way to force quit the foreground application in Mac OS X and a very good keyboard shortcut to remember.
3) Force Quitting Apps from the Dock 4) Force Quit an App from the Apple MenuThis is easy to remember but not necessarily the most powerful method, since sometimes an application is completely unresponsive and the menus are inaccessible.
5) Use Activity Monitor to Force Quit AppsActivity Monitor is a powerful way to forcibly quit any app, task, daemon, or process running on Mac OS X. You can find it in /Applications/Utilities/ or open it from Spotlight with Command+Space and then type ‘Activity Monitor’ and the return key. Using Activity Monitor is very easy: Select the process name or ID you wish to kill (unresponsive apps will usually appear as red), and hit the red “Quit Process” button.
You can think of this as the Mac equivalent to a task manager from the Windows world and a more complex version of the second tips Force Quit window. If one of the previous methods fails, this will almost certainly work.
6) Using the Terminal & kill CommandIf all else fails, using the command line is a surefire way to force an app or process to quit by issuing the low-level kill command. Launch the Terminal and type one of the following commands:
killall [processname]
For example, “killall Safari” would kill all instances of the Safari process. If you know the process id, which you can find with the ps or ‘ps aux’ command. Aim kill at that process specifically:
kill -9 [pid]
The kill commands will take out just about anything, and sometimes have the side effect of not honoring Versions, Window Restore, and Auto-Save, so be cautious of potential data loss.
7) Use the command line pkill commandAnother option for command line users is the pkill command, which works similar to the kill command to forcibly exit and close applications and processes.
pkill is nice because, similar to ‘killall’, you can specify an application name or process name. For example:
pkill Safari
Will forcibly quit out of Safari on the Mac.
pkill can be used for both GUI apps and command line processes.
–
What’s your preferred method of forcibly quitting an app? Mine is the Command+Option+Escape trick, or by using Activity Monitor, but I often turn to the command line for more complex situations.
Remember, when you force quit an app, you will lose any unsaved data in that application. Don’t forget that.
Bonus Force Quit TipsYou can also force quit several Mac apps at the same time if you find yourself in a situation requiring that.
Mac users without an ESC key will instead need to get accustomed to force quitting with Touch Bar, which can sometimes be a few extra steps to access the escape option.
Rebooting a Mac will also initiate soft quit, but if you force reboot a Mac or turn it off, then it will basically force quit out of apps as well – that’s pretty extreme though so it’s best to avoid that method for quitting any app as it’s not intended for really anything other than a totally frozen Mac.
This obviously covers the Mac, but from the iOS side of things, you can force quit apps on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, as well, depending on the version of iOS and the iOS device itself. Swiping up from the bottom of the screen on a new device and then swiping up to discard the app will force quit on any new iPhone or iPad, and older models can force quit by double-pressing Home button to then initiate the quit app process. And finally, much older iOS versions can accomplish this by holding down the Power button until the slide to power option appears, and then hold the Home button until the app closes.

7 Ways To Lower Your Cholesterol This Week
Cholesterol is a fatty molecule with a waxy consistency and can be found in every body cell. However, having excessive amounts of cholesterol in the blood might raise the risk of developing cardiovascular disease and stroke, even though it is essential for the healthy function of cells. LDL, which stands for “low-density lipoprotein,” and HDL are the two primary forms of cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein).
7 Effective Ways to Lower your Cholesterol this WeekBelow are the 7 effective ways to cut down your Cholesterol level −
Have Oatmeal for BreakfastA straightforward method for lowering cholesterol involves beginning each day with either a bowl of oatmeal or a cold cereal made with oats, such as Cheerios. One to two grams of soluble fiber is contained in each serving. Consuming a banana or some strawberries is an excellent way to add another half gram to your daily potassium intake. The current recommendation from the Institute of Medicine is to consume 20–35 grams of fiber per day, with at least 5–10 grams coming from soluble fiber.
Eat More WalnutsWhen it comes to lowering cholesterol, eating nuts is a terrific and straightforward option, and most varieties will do the trick. Twenty-five studies revealed that eating an average of 67 g (approximately 2.4 ounces) of nuts per day significantly reduced total and LDL cholesterol.
The same is true for almonds, pistachios, and peanuts, which are excellent options for reducing cholesterol.
Take a WalkIn addition to dietary factors, factors related to an individual’s way of life might influence cholesterol levels. Your deeds are also very significant. Our bodies are not designed for sitting still for extended periods. The benefits of regular exercise in maintaining a healthy cholesterol level can be broken down into two categories. To begin, it promotes weight loss, which is a significant help in the effort to bring down cholesterol levels as quickly as possible. In addition, exercise causes an increase in HDL cholesterol, also known as the “good” cholesterol.
Eat BeansIf you normally eat a tuna salad or a ham sandwich for lunch, which is high in mayonnaise, you might benefit from a bean salad by switching to one made with beans instead. This would allow you to reap the heart-healthy benefits of the bean salad. Beans, sometimes referred to as legumes or pulses, are a fantastic source of protein and fiber, and they can be substituted for fish or meat. They are also effective and can reduce cholesterol levels quickly and uncomplicatedly.
Beans are just as satisfying as eating meat due to the high levels of fiber that they contain. On the other hand, beans require more time to digest, which means eating them can help you feel full longer than eating meat. Beans, more than any other food, have the potential to bring cholesterol levels down to healthier levels.
Have Salmon for DinnerIf you want to improve the health of your heart, you should switch from steak to salmon. Including fish in your diet can provide you with various health benefits. You’ll start by changing from LDL-raising red meat to fish, which is better because it has fewer saturated fats. Fish is an excellent source of beneficial omega-3 fats, which have been shown to lower blood triglyceride levels. Triglycerides are a form of fat carried through your bloodstream (a type of fat that circulates in your blood).
Have Blueberry YogurtEvery fruit contains antioxidants. However, different types of fruit have different proportions of sugar and fiber. Because a single serving of blueberries (around a cup) comprises 5 g, and hence, consuming them is a quick and simple way to lower cholesterol levels.
Blueberries that have been dried are delicious and can also be used in the kitchen. You may buy frozen blueberry packets at any time of the year; however, you must utilize them as soon as they have been thawed to ensure that their crisp texture is maintained. One of the most delicious ways to consume this fruit is a parfait made with non-fat or low-fat yogurt and blueberries.
A Glass of WineEven though drinking alcohol occasionally might be good for your health in some ways, drinking too much is bad for your heart. When done in moderation, drinking alcohol can help raise the amount of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol in the body. Women shouldn’t drink more than three alcoholic drinks a day and no more than seven alcoholic drinks a week. Men shouldn’t drink more than four alcoholic drinks a day and no more than 14 alcoholic drinks in a week.
Moderate drinking is defined as having no more than one alcoholic drink per day for women and no more than two alcoholic drinks per day for men, or even fewer drinks per day if you are over 65. One standard drink is 12 ounces of beer, 8 ounces of malt liquor, 5 ounces of wine, or 1.5 ounces of a shot. When you order drinks, you must keep this conversion in mind.
Reasons for High Cholesterol in PeopleSeveral factors contribute to high cholesterol levels, including −
Genetics − Some people are genetically predisposed to have high cholesterol levels. This can be due to inherited gene mutations that affect how the body processes cholesterol.
Diet − A diet high in saturated and trans fats and cholesterol can raise cholesterol levels. Overeating red meat and full-fat dairy products can also contribute to high cholesterol.
Obesity − Being overweight or obese can increase the risk of high cholesterol. Excess weight can cause the liver to produce more LDL cholesterol.
Medications − Certain medications, such as birth control pills and steroids, can raise cholesterol levels.
Stress − Long-term stress can increase the production of a hormone called cortisol, leading to weight gain and an increased risk of high cholesterol.
Nutritional deficiencies − Nutritional deficiencies in certain vitamins and minerals such as vitamin D, B12, and magnesium can lead to high cholesterol levels.
Hormonal imbalances − Hormonal imbalances such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and menopause can lead to high cholesterol levels.
Certain medications − Certain medications, like beta blockers, diuretics, and immunosuppressants, can raise cholesterol levels.
ConclusionHigh cholesterol can be managed through healthy lifestyle changes and medication. It’s important to work closely with a healthcare professional to develop a plan that works for you and to monitor your cholesterol levels regularly.

Why is my WordPress site not secure?Being a flexible and feature-filled CMS makes WordPress a lucrative target for hackers because there are many vulnerabilities and endpoints.
Visitors may see a warning about a WordPress site not being secure due to a variety of reasons. One of them is a missing SSL certificate. Sometimes, a misconfigured or expired certificate too results in warnings issued by the browser.
Not all such certificates renew automatically. So, if one forgets to renew them manually, they will expire and will lead to warnings.
How do I make my WordPress site secure?A WordPress website often involves third-party code used in the form of themes, language packs, and plugins. These are in addition to the core files of the CMS. Website owners need to keep all of these up-to-date. Newer versions of plugins and themes often include patches that fix security loopholes.
There are also many tools available that can scan the website for security-related issues and suggest remedial measures.
Why is my WordPress site HTTP not HTTPS?It is not sufficient just to have an SSL certificate installed. One needs to force HTTP traffic to use HTTPS instead. The steps to do so will vary depending on the underlying software.
However, there are also plugins available that can help to quickly set up the necessary redirection. Using plain HTTP will make the website traffic more prone to eavesdropping by hackers.
How do I fix WordPress site not secure? 1. Install an SSL certificateIf the website doesn’t already have an SSL certificate installed, one can obtain it by applying for fresh registration. Many domain name providers and web hosting agencies supply digital certificates as well.
There are also free SSL certificates available, from sources such as Let’s Encrypt, GoGetSSL, ZeroSSL, Sectigo, etc. Hosting providers usually have better support for paid certificates.
2. Renew the installed SSL certificateFree SSL certificates usually expire after 90 days and paid ones after about a year, depending on the validity chosen while purchasing. Not all hosting providers support the automatic renewal of the certificates.
3. Force all traffic via HTTPSIf it is expected that the browser will automatically use HTTPS but instead uses plain HTTP only, the browser will consider the WordPress site not secure.
In this case, it is very likely that the traffic is not being forced through HTTPS, leaving visitors free to use plain HTTP if they wish to. This can be corrected by redirecting all HTTP traffic through HTTPS.
4. Make sure that the certificate is installed for the correct addressExpert tip:
Multi-domain and wildcard certificates can be used to cover more than one address in one go.
5. Get a certificate from a trusted providerIf the website had a Symantec digital certificate, Chrome will not trust it anymore. Consider getting an SSL certificate from another vendor.
Even Mozilla Firefox won’t consider such certificates as trustworthy, including Symantec’s other brands like Thawte, GeoTrust and RapidSSL.
6. Adjust the clock of the systemIf the system clock is not accurate, it is likely that the browser will consider a valid SSL certificate to be invalid. To correct this, set the correct date and time in the system clock.
This will apply even on portable devices. If the clock in the phone/tablet is not set accurately, the browser in the OS too might fail to recognise a valid SSL certificate.
Newer versions of operating systems and browsers contain code that can recognise trustworthy SSL certificates in a more reliable manner.
Even if visitors use a browser which has a slow update cycle, such as Firefox ESR, it is better to make sure that it is the latest version available.
Is the WordPress site not secure even with SSL?Even if SSL is active on the website, visitors may still get a Not secure warning in the browser. One of the leading causes for this is content on the page that the server fetches from external sources. If that data is fetched without encryption, then the browser will consider it insecure.
Visitors tend to get annoyed when they see an error on the website. Security-related errors may even create a feeling of panic.
While choosing to go for an SSL certificate, it helps to check what level of verification it involves. Some certificates just check who owns the domain, whereas some others will require documents about the business.
If you are sure that the website has a valid and properly configured SSL certificate set up but are still facing issues, check out this article on how to secure your certificate when Chrome says it’s not valid.

Notification Badges Missing On Iphone? 7 Ways To Fix
Notifications are a great way to keep up with the latest updates and messages you receive on your phone. iPhones allow you to control various aspects of notifications, including audio, banners, badges, lock screen notifications, and much more. However, it could happen sometimes that you are unable to view badges on the app icons on your iPhone.
Badges show up as a small red dot above app icons and display the number of pending unread notifications. This is a great way to keep up with your notification count without having to check the app or your notification center. However, if you’re facing a similar issue where badges fail to appear on your iPhone, then here’s how you can fix this issue. Let’s get started.
Why are notification badges missing from my iPhone?
There are a couple of known reasons why notification badges fail to appear on your iPhone. You could be facing issues with your Focus modes, iOS bugs, or app bugs. Additionally, badges could also be disabled in the Settings app, which can prevent them from appearing over apps when you receive notifications.
All these reasons and cache issues on your iPhone can prevent notification badges from showing up on your iPhone. Use the next section to help you troubleshoot missing notification badges on your iPhone.
How to fix the notification badges missing issue on your iPhone
Here are all the fixes to help you troubleshoot missing notifications on your iPhone. We recommend you start with the first fix and make your way through the list until you manage to fix your issue.
Method 1: Check your Focus modes (disable DND)
Focus modes can prevent you from viewing notification badges on your iPhone, especially if you use DND. DND is a known cause of missing notification badges for many users, especially if you use automation and focus filters to automatically activate and deactivate this Focus mode. We recommend you use the steps below to check for Focus modes and disable DND or any other mode if active on your iPhone. (If you recently updated to iOS 16.1 version, then this could be the issue.)
Access the Control Center on your iPhone by swiping down from the top right corner. Now tap Focus.
If any of the Focus modes are highlighted, it means they’re currently active on your iPhone. Tap the same Focus mode to disable it.
The selected Focus mode will now be disabled. You can now go check your apps, and if you were missing badges due to Focus mode, then the issue should now be fixed on your iPhone.
Method 2: Force restart your iPhone
You could be missing notification badges due to temporary bugs, cache issues, or leftover files. All these issues can be fixed with a force restart of your iPhone. A force restart helps clear cache files, re-register background services, and re-activate all real-time services that rely on push notifications. This way, a force restart will help you restore notification badges on your phone if you’re facing bugs or issues on your iPhone. Use the steps below to force restart your iPhone.
If you know the standard restart procedure, then the force restart is pretty similar to it. Start by quickly pressing and releasing the Volume Up button, followed by the Volume Down button on your iPhone.
Once done, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button till you see the Apple logo. Once the Apple logo appears on the screen, let go of the Sleep/Wake button and let your iPhone restart normally.
Notification badges should now be restored on your iPhone if you are facing temporary bugs or cache issues.
Method 3: Make sure Badges are enabled
If notification badges are still missing from your iPhone, then it is likely that they could be disabled in the notification settings. We recommend you use the steps below to check and enable the same on your iPhone.
Open the Settings app and tap Notifications.
Now scroll the list and tap and select an affected app that is missing notification badges.
Scroll down to the ALERTS section and check the toggle for Badges. If it is turned off, then tap and turn on the toggle for Badges.
Go home and check the app. Badges should now be available for the selected app. You can now repeat the steps above to enable notification badges for all affected apps.
And that’s it! If badges were disabled for your apps, then they should now be restored on your iPhone.
Method 4: Reinstall the app
This is a known fix that seems to work well for most apps but is highly recommended for system apps like Mail and more if they are missing notification badges. Follow the steps below to help delete, restart and reinstall the app, which should help restore notification badges on your system.
Find the app you’re facing issues with and tap and hold on to it. Select Delete App.
Tap Delete to confirm your choice.
Now force restart your device by pressing and releasing the Volume Up button followed by the Volume Down button quickly. Then press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until you see the Apple logo. Once the logo appears on your screen, let go of the Sleep/Wake button and let your iPhone restart normally.
Once your iPhone has restarted, search for the app in the App Store and install it again.
Set up the app as you like and wait for a notification to come in. Badges should now be visible as intended if you were facing issues with leftover app files and cache.
Method 5: Toggle notifications for the app
You could also be facing issues with the background services related to notifications on your iPhone. The app might be facing bugs registering push notifications or simply displaying them. In such cases, you can toggle notifications on and off for the concerned app to see if that fixes the issue for you. If you’ve been facing issues due to notification service conflicts, then this can help you fix the same. Use the steps below to help you along the way.
Open the Settings app and tap Notifications.
Now scroll the app list and tap the concerned app where you’re unable to view notifications.
Turn off Allow Notifications at the top by tapping on it.
And that’s it! Badges should now be visible on the affected app if you are facing issues due to background notification conflicts.
Method 6: Disable low data mode
Low data mode is a great way to save on mobile data and reduce background internet usage on your iPhone. However, it is a known cause of issues with certain apps that constantly refresh data in the background for real-time updates. We now recommend you try turning off low data mode on your iPhone to check if you’re missing badges due to the same. Use the steps below to help you along with the process.
Open the Settings app and tap Mobile Data at the top.
Tap and select Mobile Data Options.
Tap and select Data Mode.
Now tap and select Standard or Allow More Data on 5G.
Similarly, let’s turn off low data mode for your current Wi-Fi network as well. Go back to the Settings app and tap Wi-Fi.
Tap the icon beside your current Wi-Fi network.
Now turn off the toggle for Low Data Mode.
Similarly, turn off the toggle for Low Data Mode for other Wi-Fi networks you use as well. We now recommend you restart your iPhone for good measure. This, however, is completely optional.
If low data mode was preventing notification badges from appearing on your iPhone, then the issue should now be fixed for you.
Method 7: Ensure Background App Refresh is enabled
Background App Refresh is a feature in iOS that allows you to control the apps allowed to access the network in the background to show updates and notifications in real time. If background app refresh is turned off for certain apps, then they will be unable to deliver push notifications and notifications as they arrive, which could be the reason why badges are unavailable on your iPhone. Here’s how you can check and turn on background app refresh for affected apps.
Open the Settings app and tap General.
Now tap and select Background App Refresh.
Tap and select Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi & Mobile Data depending on your preferences.
Now go back to the previous screen and tap and turn on the toggle for all affected apps where you’re unable to receive badge notifications.
And that’s it! If you weren’t receiving badge notifications on your iPhone due to background app refresh, then the issue should now be fixed.
Last Resort Fixes!
If you’re still unable to receive badge notifications, then it’s time for some drastic measures. We recommend you try the extreme fixes mentioned below, and if they don’t work for you, you might be looking at a device-specific issue. In such cases, we recommend getting in touch with Apple Support in such cases. Use the relevant section below to help you along the way.
If this is an issue with a particular app on your iPhone, then it is likely that other users are facing the same issue as well. We recommend you submit a bug report to the app developer and wait for an update. It is likely that the app developers are already aware of the issue and are working on a fix. We recommend you wait for an upcoming app update which will likely fix the missing badges bug for you and other users worldwide.
Lastly, we recommend you contact Apple Support. This could be a bug specific to your iPhone, and an Apple support technician will help you better diagnose and troubleshoot the same. Use the link below to get in touch with Apple support in your region.

7 Ways To Automate Your Marketing For Better Results
There are so many different areas of life that would be great to automate. I’d love someone to automate walking my dogs for me, doing the dishes, or folding the laundry. We already have some great examples of automation when it comes to bill pay, using robots to vacuum our floors, and insurance claims processing (fun!).
But what about when it comes to marketing?
There are actually a lot of different ways to automate your marketing that are not only attainable for small businesses but that can actually make your marketing more effective.
In this post, we’ll explore seven ways to automate your marketing to drive better results and the data behind why it works.
Why You Should Automate Your Small Business MarketingWhile the idea of automating anything when it comes to your business is probably appealing, there are some specific benefits to automating your marketing that can’t be ignored.
Consider these stats.
The reason for this is simple: The marketing automation technology is able to analyze what’s driving the best results and automatically – or automagically, as I like to call it – reallocating budget to those areas, leading to better results overall.
2. Automation can decrease Cost Per Lead by nearly 20%. 7 Ways to Automate Your MarketingHere are seven ways to automate your marketing:
1. Automate Your Email MarketingIf you have any familiarity with automating your marketing, the first thing you probably think of is automating your email marketing or lead nurturing campaigns (which we’ll talk more about next).
Using marketing automation software or tools, you can define specific events that trigger an email to your lead or customer.
This could look like a dentist’s office sending a reminder email to schedule your checkup each year or a follow-up email asking for feedback after an electrician visits your home.

Automating your email marketing in this way can help you stay in front of customers and engage with them throughout the year.
2. Automate Lead NurturingThis could look like a series of three emails that you send after you collect a lead’s contact information through your website – the first email would send general information about your business with a way to contact you, the second could include an educational piece of information with a testimonial, and the third could include a discount for their next purchase or appointment.
By automating this marketing process, you don’t have to pay attention to where each lead is in the funnel – instead, you can rely on your lead nurturing to move them through the funnel until they’re ready to become your customer.
3. Automate PPC OptimizationsPPC optimizations can include distributing your budget to the keywords, search engines, and days/times that are driving the best results for your business so you’re not having to analyze the data and make these types of optimizations on your own – which would require a lot of time, expertise, and trial and error.

As we mentioned earlier, automating your search marketing can lead to better overall results, including more actions on your campaigns and a lower CPL.
4. Automate Social Media PostingSocial media marketing is a great way for your business to engage with your audience, but it can be time-consuming. In fact, one survey found that over 40% of small business owners were spending six hours per week managing their social media pages.
By automating your social media, you can maximize your time without sacrificing engagement.

5. Automate Ad Creative UpdatesInstead of analyzing every piece of data related to your ad campaigns and making educated guesses about what updates to your ad will maximize results, you can automate your marketing to do that for you!
